When is it?
This year church camping was July 28-Aug 2!
Due to our usual spots in the Group camping site being washed away, we will again stay in individual sites next to each other.
Where is it?
The address is:
Pioneer County Park
1563 N. Scenic Drive
Muskegon, MI 49445
Here is a link to the location on Google Maps.
What can I camp in?
Anything you want!
What features are at the park?
There are 15 spots with electric and water hook-ups, with a bath house right around the corner with showers and toilets. The campsites also have a direct stairway to the beach on beautiful Lake Michigan, as well as a boardwalk with areas that lookout over the lake.
Can I get my own campsite?
Yes you can. If you need a site with different or longer dates then offered, you can visit the campground’s webpage for more information.
Is there a Church service on Sunday?
Yes there is, we meet in the morning for “church in the woods” as we have come to call it, with many from the church who drive up to join us. It is a special time of praise & worship, along with a message all outside in God’s creation. There is a pavilion in case
of rain 🙂
What activities are there?
There are tennis and basketball courts always open (you’ll need to bring your own ball and rackets). There are also organized events by our group, including a treasure hunt for the teens, a sand castle contest, and tournaments of bocce ball and corn hole toss. There may be other events depending on what people come up with!
How can I sign up?
Call the church office for the name and number of who to contact.
Can I help with anything?
Yes! Help is always welcome, contact the church for names and numbers of who to call for information.
