In the midst of such celebration, the Jews who had been so abused cry out in disbelief of God’s justice.
There is a reaction from a review of their experiences since their Roman captivity.
Many believers today react the same way to trial and difficulty.

The inability of a woman to forget her child – cp.
1 Thessalonians 2:7

However, the rate exception can occur when a mother forgets her child due to extreme circumstances.

God’s compassion to His people far exceeds a mother’s tenderness toward her child.

The Permanence of God’s Compassion –

God says that His people are indelibly written on His hands.
To some, this is a prophetical reference to the marks which the nails placed in the hands of Christ.
The Promise of God’s Compassion –
v. 17
This is a reference to the fulfillment of the prophecies of the establishment of the kingdom of Jesus Christ during the Millennium.

Your enemies will hurry to flee from toubling you.
