Byron Bible is a missions-focused church, and there are plenty of opportunities for the church body to serve on short-term mission trips. Some recent destinations have been: Guyana, Haiti, Bolivia and the Ukraine. Our church has missionaries all of the world that we visit to support their ministries, encourage them and serve the people they are serving right along side with them.
One of our members, Dr. Bill TenHaaf serves the people of Haiti in Jesus name in a hospital in Cayes, Haiti and there are regular opportunities for service there. Construction crews regularly visit to improve the hospital campus and take care of maintenance. Outreach teams visit to work with ministering to people in the community through the hospital as well as a nearby camp ministry that is operated by another missionary family our church supports.
Byron Manor Ministry
The Byron Manor ministry is an opportunity to reach out to the community, specifically to those senior citizens who are unable to “get out” and attend a church service. A short visit with the residences after the service is also a great time of witness and fellowship. We are looking for volunteers to take part in planning and presenting church services for the residence at Byron Manor located in Byron Center, Michigan.
The Special Events Committee is seeking new members to help with some of the “all-church” events, such as the church picnic, special fellowship dinners and planned fellowship times.
The website committee is responsible for maintaining the Byron Center Bible Church website. Team members write copy for the site, take photos, build pages and update calendars. Contact us if you are interested in joining the crew!
