Thanks for your question. I would not be able to justify the hatred of women in any way, should it exist. However, the Bible does not condone the hatred of women - much to the contrary, it demands that women be viewed as the pinnacle of God's creative work - Genesis 2:18-25. The establishment of role distinctives does not convey either superiority or inferiority. That the Bible commands a woman to submit to her husband is not a means of the expression of hatred - nor does it suggest that she is in any way inferior (cp. the fact that the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is equal to the Father in glory and honor, but submitted himself to the authority of the Father for the purpose of redemption - Philippians 2:4ff). If the need to be submissive is tantamount to hatred, than the Bible conveys hatred of Christ, as well as of children who must be submissive to parents (Ephesians 6:1-3), of employees who must be submissive to employers (Colossians 3:22-25), of citizens who must be submissive to government (Romans 13:1-7), of church members who must be submissive to their leaders (Hebrews 13:17). In other words, God has established order within society and designed individuals to fill specific roles. Without these roles being properly fulfilled, the society breaks down - even as the family has been disintegrating since the effort to erase role distinctives between men and women.
