The body that Jesus possessed after His resurrection was indeed a physical body. It was able to be touched, embraced, and the inference is that he could even eat - cp. John 21:9-15. He was not a mere spirit, although His body was no longer limited to the physical laws that govern the world: He could pass through walls, He traverse distances (from one place to another), and even defied gravity (ascension). Hence, the glorified body is not apparitional or merely spiritual, but actually physical.
